Cobi is a Polish company which began in Warsaw all the way back in 1987 (in fact, the country was still under communist rule at this point). Initially, they produced board games and puzzles before branching out into miniature building blocks.

Their building blocks proved such a big success that they are their sole focus today.

Of course, there are many other building block brands on the market. The major brands are all compatible with Cobi.

However, some of the other big brands choose not to manufacture military equipment. This is where Cobi comes into its own. They specialise in military equipment particularly from the 20th and 21st centuries – tanks, ships, airplanes etc. More modern sets are also available – cars, rockets, helicopters…
