Specially formulated by AK Interactive to recreate the mythical WWI German uniforms. In this set, you will find the base colour, shadow and light to paint the characteristic Field Grey uniform used by these troops. They can also be used to represent German WWII uniforms, as these colour tones were also used in that conflict, along with others.
They make it easy to paint the base colour and make highlights and shades. High quality results with little effort or complication. They offer an ultra-matte finish. The paints also provide just the right drying time, making the painting of figures never easier.
AK acrylic paints are water soluble and are free of odours unlike aggressive solvent based paints.
It is possible to apply the Figure Series paints by both brush and airbrush. When airbrushing, the recommendation is to dilute it with 40% AK 712 thinner. It is possible to use tap water; however, the specific thinner AK 712 gives the best results.
