This kit is a highly detailed scale replica of the Mercedes-Benz Actros 3363 6×4 GigaSpace. It is the flagship of the world’s leading truck manufacturer – Daimler AG from Germany.
It is part of the ‘Actros’ range by Mercedes-Benz – this is the heavy duty range, especially used in long haulage. In fact, the Actros series won the prestigious “International Truck of the Year” award in 2012!
The 3363 variant has a Gross Vehicle Mass of 33 tons and a 630 horsepower engine. The 6×4 refers to the fact that it has 6 wheels (across 3 axles), 4 of which are powered. This type of drivetrain is the most common in truck tractor units. It comes equiped with the biggest Actros cab – the Gigaspace. The truck runs on a 15.6-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine capable of 630hp and hauling up to 250 tons.

It has a highly detailed body made from ABS plastic and metal chassis components. Details such as auxiliary lights on the cab roof and bumper alongside photo-etched stainless steel parts and air tanks bring it to life.
The ladder frame chassis is extremely durable, with aluminium side channels with resin cross members. The suspension employs leaf springs and friction dampers – just like real trucks. Drivability is accomplished by power from the front-mounted motor. It transmits power via a propeller shaft to the rear axles; built-in differential gears guarantee smooth cornering. Gear changes can be made via a separately-sold 4-channel transmitter.
The 2-part side mirrors feature durable and realistic metal stays, and allow angle adjustment. The model also has kerb mirrors.
Take your truck to the next level with semi-truck add-ons. Attach any one of them via the coupler on the model to create a combination over a meter in length.
This is a remote control kit that requires assembly. The kit also requires painting, either by using the suggested paint schemes or however else you would like! For this kit, Hard Plastic Spray Paint (TS) is appropriate.
