The Fokker Dr.I, nicknamed the Red Baron, is the most recognisable fighter aircraft of all time, let alone WWI . At that time, this German Triplane was incredibly manoeuvrable, but quite slow.
Manfred von Richthofen piloted the Red Baron during the Great War. He was a flying ace who aroused fear but also recognition. It was the aircraft in which he gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.
This model is the perfect replication of this historic aircraft.
The model consists of movable parts such as a propeller, wheels and ailerons.
The set includes a unique figure of pilot Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the “Red Baron”. In fact, he can be put at the controls of a plane armed with two heavy machine guns.
In addition, the set has a stand with the name of a model printed on it.
